What is an Outreach Hub?
Outreach Hubs distribute the Rescue hotline number to individuals in the sex industry, giving them hope for a way out. Through our secure Outreach Calling System, volunteer Outreach Advocates place calls to sex ads. Following a script or talking points, the volunteer advocate speaks directly to the survivor or leaves a message of hope that includes our Rescue hotline number. Our Outreach Hubs are providing opportunities for the church to reach out and be the voice of hope.

Yes! Rescue America uses a scraping tool that pulls survivors’ numbers directly from the web so that you will not be exposed to any online sex ads. Furthermore, you will be using our secure calling system that will automatically place the calls for you. With that said, you will not be using your own phone number nor will you ever share your personal information.

Yes! In fact, we have found that male Outreach Advocates have a profound impact on survivors and tend to have even more successful phone calls. When a survivor hears a male’s voice and he doesn’t want to purchase her services, this speaks to her overall value and worth as a person - not a product for sale.

We hope that as you make calls, you become more comfortable talking with survivors, giving out the Rescue hotline number, and offering to pray with them. You may decide you are more effective as the team member who prays while your partner makes the calls. Whatever role you choose, your participation is vital!
